I am from the midwestern area of the United States. I have taught in many parts of the globe for more than 15 years.
I have worked with business executives in Moscow, Russia, university students in Shanghai, China and I have taught history and writing at several international schools. Over the years I have honed my skills and I now offer bespoke lessons that I tailor to the exact needs of my clients.
I begin with a needs-analysis and then drill down to identify the ideal program and deliver a superior service. I believe this site offers a useful snapshot of my teaching approach.

- I begin with a questionnaire/needs analysis. I’ll ask you about your English-speaking goals.
- What English dialect do you have?
- I am from the Midwest of the United States. I speak with a midwestern dialect. This is the preferred dialect of newscasters and professional actors.
- Can you prepare for a job interview?
- Yes, I have worked with executives assisting them in interview-answer construction and mock interview practice.
